How has wakeboarding changed your life?
My life now is completely different to how I thought it would be. When I was 16 my dream was to earn a Scholarship for Gymnastics in the USA to compete and to study Physiotherapy as well. If that didn’t happen CircDuSoleil would be fun! Neither happened because at 17 I smashed my ankle to pieces doing gym and after getting better I was luckily introduced to wakeboarding! Now it is my job and I call 2 countries home. It is crazy to look back however I don’t regret a thing and I love my job and my life.

Who influences you the most?
I enjoy riding with Keith Lyman because he goes massive and tweaks his methods out to the max! As well as the rest of my LF team mates.

What is your favorite part of being a professional wakeboarder?
It has given me the opportunity to travel the world visiting places I would have never dreamed of visiting. I love teaching others how to wakeboard and introducing new people to it. The joy on one’s face when they stand up for the first time or land a new trick is very gratifying.

What does the “job” part of being a professional wakeboarder consist of?
The “job” part is going to contests, doing photo shoots, doing what I can to promote my sponsors and spending many hours at LAX Airport.

If you weren’t wakeboarding for a job, what do you think you would be doing?
I do ask myself this question from time to time and there are many possibilities. Who knows?

Where do you think wakeboarding is going to go from where it is now?
People are becoming a lot more creative and taking it in so many new directions. With the spots winch’s can access, the new cable-parks and the funky rails being built its all healthy for the diversity of wakeboarding.
